Earlier this week, FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe told a tale of tea party triumph in an article for the libertarian magazine Reason.  According to Kibbe, the protests - which drew a meager 700,000 people nationwide by his own count - are a reason to "take pity on the left as it grapples with the tea party revolt." But no matter how badly Kibbe wants to believe the American people are on his side, his "facts" just aren't right.
