On July 11, 2009, Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) wrote a column in the Toledo Blade titled "Energy Plan To Cost More Jobs." In the column, Rep. Latta falsely claimed the American Clean Energy and Security Act would lead to "unprecedented" job losses and severely rising energy costs.
