Sen. Inhofe Lies On Fox News Sunday
During a December 13, 2009 appearance on Fox News Sunday, Sen. James Inhofe falsely claimed Rep. Ed Markey's American Clean Energy and Security Act passed "in the middle of the night on a weekend." In reality, it passed just after 7:00 p.m. on a Friday. The vote was scheduled for late-afternoon, but the House Minority Leader's "fili-Boehner" delayed the vote by over an hour.

The Republican Minority Leader's "Fili-Boehner" Delayed The Vote By Over An Hour. As reported by Time in a blog post titled "The Fili-Boehner":

After over an hour, Boehner relinquished the floor. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in the interest of saving time, curtailed her closing remarks to four words, telling members she believes this bill is all about, "Jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs." [Time, 6/26/09]
