Rep. Bachmann: My Husband And I "Live The Nightmare Of Obamacare Every Day"
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is on television railing against the "government takeover" of health care (that isn't real) and its hidden $105 billion in spending (that wasn't hidden) so frequently that by now it's pretty much background noise. Last night on Fox Business, Bachmann decided to turn up the drama on her "Obamacare" complaints, whining that because she and her husband own two health clinics, they "live the nightmare of Obamacare every day."
BACHMANN: There's a great frustration among House members with stopgap members. The members that voted yes, not all of them are against Obamacare. As a matter of fact, I'd say one hundred percent of the House Republicans want to repeal Obamacare. It's a matter of tactics. But what I believe and what 54 Republicans believed is that the time to act is now. The time to take on President Obama and this unwieldy nightmare is now. My husband and I own two clinics. We live the nightmare of Obamacare every day, as do 49 of our employees. We want government to get out of health care, to get out of education, because we think the American people deserve better.
The "nightmare" Bachmann is supposedly living includes using thousands of federal dollars to fund her clinics. According to the Minnesota Independent, "Minnesota has it's own version of 'socialized medicine' for low-income families, called Medical Assistance, and Bachmann's family business actively sought to gain access to these taxpayer funds."
