Top 10 List: The House Homeland Security Committee's Islamophobia

Today, Rep. Peter King will convene his hearings in the Homeland Security committee on the purported radicalization of American Muslims. Controversy is swirling this week around his baseless allegations that American Muslim communities are not cooperating with law enforcement and his cadre of unsuitable witnesses that includes no police officers or members of the FBI.

The rationale of this hearing comes into focus when you realize that King and other members of his committee have a long history of expressing extreme or insensitive views on Islam and Muslim Americans.
