Sharron Angle Flunks Fox News Interview

July 12, 2010 6:25 pm ET — Matt Finkelstein

Sharron Angle, the far-right GOP candidate to unseat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), returned to Fox News today to discuss the latest twists in her tumultuous campaign.  Specifically, host Neil Cavuto asked Angle about Sen. Bob Bennett's (R-UT) prediction that she will lose and her confused attack on Reid's work to save 22,000 jobs at MGM Resorts, a major Nevada employer.  During the interview, Angle repeatedly ignored and struggled to answer questions — at one point, she called a private loan to MGM a "bank bailout" — showing once again that she has almost no grasp on the policies she would affect if elected.
