Rep. Broun: You'd Have To Be "Walkin' Around In A Dead Person" To Believe CBO
Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) has had quite a week. On Thursday night, he compared health care reform to the "Great War of Yankee Aggression," or what normal Americans call the Civil War. On the same night, he claimed reforming our broken health care system would result in an "influx of illegal aliens just to come and have those anchor babies to get on Medicaid."
On Friday, he gave an equally absurd encore performance. Attempting to cast doubt on news that the current health care reform package would reduce the deficit by $1.3 trillion over 20 years, Rep. Broun said, "one would have to be walkin' around in a dead person" to believe the Congressional Budget Office.
Watch:
REP. PAUL BROUN: We've heard claims about CBO says it's gonna reduce the budget or deficit. Well the simple truth is they've used zombie economics to get these numbers. 'Cause one would have to be walking around in a dead person to believe the economic parameters that were forced upon the CBO.
How does one walk around in a dead person?
