U.S. Chamber Spent Over $71 Million On Lobbying In Q4

A newly released lobbying disclosure report reveals that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent a whopping $71 million on lobbying activities in the fourth quarter of 2009.

This report, paired with today's Supreme Court decision to allow corporations to directly support politicians who will support their agenda, shows just how much control big business seeks Washington.

As average Americans struggle in today's economy, they deserve a government that fights for the interests of families - not faceless corporations.

Fortunately, the current administration is standing up to the Wall Street bankers who brought on the economic collapse.  But with giant corporations seeking more and more influence in Washington, the deck is increasingly stacked against hardworking Americans.
