Rep. Price Says "You Lie" Congressman Has A "Heart Of Gold," But "Die Quickly" Rep. Is A Bully
Who's The Bully?
In a new interview with the Wall Street Journal, Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) praised Rep. Joe "You Lie!" Wilson (R-SC) as a "compassionate, caring, industrious fellow with a heart of gold." However, when asked about fiery Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL), who mockingly suggested that the Republican plan for health reform was to let sick people "die quickly," Price likened the progressive lawmaker to a schoolyard bully:
On Rep. Joe Wilson (R., S.C.), who shouted "You lie!" to President Barack Obama during an address to a joint session of Congress:
"Compassionate, caring, industrious fellow with a heart of gold."
On Rep. Alan Grayson (D., Fla.), who said Republican health care plans amount to "Die quickly!":
"Seems to think that Congress is a schoolyard where bullies prevail... but his constituents will, I'm certain, see the light."
To sum up, rudely interrupting a presidential address signals a "heart of gold." But calling attention to the tens of thousands of Americans who die every year because they don't have health insurance makes Grayson a bully.
