Sen. Lieberman: Public Option Fine For Connecticut, Absurd For Rest Of United States

Well, well, well.

As it turns out, the very state that unleashed the closet conservative Sen. Lieberman upon the world has its very own public option - complete with guaranteed coverage for those with pre-existing conditions.

The Charter Oak Health Plan provides government subsidized health coverage (wait for it) for those citizens who are unable to purchase health insurance on their own.

The Connecticut government has recognized the need to address the astronomical costs of health insurance for those citizens - like small business owners and graduate students - who work hard but still can't afford coverage.

Why is Senator Lieberman placing himself in the way of providing this same sort of program for all Americans?
