Time To Purge The List

Kansas Republican congressman Todd Tiahrt sent a campaign letter to the accused murderer of Dr. George Tiller, Scott Roeder.

The letter, obtained by the Kansas blog Roeder Watch, was sent to an old address of Roeder's.

Steve Kraske of the Kansas City Star wrote:

U.S. Senate hopeful Todd Tiahrt, a Kansas Republican, just sent out a mass mailing that described his commitment to "fight for the rights of the unborn.

One recipient of the mailing: Scott Roeder of Overland Park, the man accused of killing Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller.

"Oh, great," a campaign spokesman said. "We'll make the vendor aware of it."

In the campaign letter, Rep. Tiahrt wrote: "Halting moral decay in America is imperative and will be a top priority during my service in the United States Senate. I pledge to you to fight for the rights of the unborn, for traditional marriage, and to allow blocking trash on the Internet and in the media."
